January Trail Maintenance Recap: Dave's Line Reroute & Torpedo Repairs

Dave's Line Reroute is Open

After three dedicated trail days, the new Dave’s Line reroute is officially open, and we're stoked to share the finished results with the community! Recent winter storms and atmospheric rivers highlighted how wet this area can get, so volunteers installed a rock causeway at the lower end of the trail to improve drainage and keep it durable through wet conditions.

Next trail day, we will begin to deactivate the old 60 metre skid trail section which will be replaced with a 190 m section of winding blue-rated singletrack!

Torpedo Repairs

It's no secret that everyone loves Torpedo! Riders and rain leads to erosion, but our trail volunteers keep things fun for everyone! This month we worked on the first corner of Torpedo: repairing the exit into the rock-wall ride, extending the berm into the corner, and building up that berm again to make things much smoother.

We acknowledge and respect the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples, on whose traditional territories we live, ride, and gather. We recognize their historic and ongoing relationship to these lands, and we are grateful to share in the places that nourish our bodies, minds, spirits, and community.
